Origin
Labrador is an English dog whose ancestors were brought back from Newfoundland in 1814. Its ancestor is said to be a smaller variant of Newfoundland, the “St John’s dog” who helped fish.
Character
The Labrador Retriever is an ideal companion for any type of person. It is one of the most appreciated breeds in France and all over the world. Gentle, faithful, intelligent and playful, he is also a good goalkeeper but he excels in the blind guide. Young, it can be very turbulent but with a firm education, it will become a pleasant dog to live.
Lifestyle
He can adapt to apartment life but it is strongly advised to have a house with garden so that he can express himself without destroying everything. Be careful, it can not stand loneliness and can become destructive if you do not give it enough attention.

He should not do too much physical exercise when he is young, but as an adult, he is an iron healthy dog!
